BUDGETING AND SCHEDULING

Based on years of experience, Panorama Films is able to budget and schedule low, medium or high budget features and television programs as well as commercials and photo shoots. It has earned a reputation for providing efficient, reliable and cost-effective services for for the world's producers.

Budgets and schedules are prepared to meet individual requirements, in any currency and in all formats including Movie Magic, AICP and those used by all the major studios.

LOCATIONS AND LOCATION PERMITS

Panorama Films can scout, plan for and do pre-production research for any type of production. It has an extensive digital location archive as well as a large print library.

Location research and scouting is done by a number of bilingual Italian location managers who specialize in all of Italy's 21 regions including Tuscany, Umbria, Sardinia, Sicily, Venice and the Amalfi coast.

Panorama Films maintains good, on-going relationships with the various governments and police departments which issue shooting permits, including those for all historical sites and government buildings.

Any and all government benefits are passed on directly to our clients; Panorama can advise on areas offering tax based incentives and other local reward programs.

Panorama Films offers the entire range of multilingual and highly specialized filmmaking professionals. From heads of departments through to legions of extras, Panorama can organize top quality support for producers shooting in Italy or around the Mediterranean.

CASTING AND TALENT BUYOUTS

The long history of Italy and its people have endowed the country with a wealth of different ethnicities. Origins range from Arab to German, with everything in between. There are numerous non-Italians who live in the country, offering a vast choice of physical characteristics for every type of casting.

Its long relationship with European casting agents and its regular production levels mean that Panorama has been able to successfully fully cast films and mini-series in several languages, in many countries.

Keeping costs in mind, Panorama Films can negotiate full talent buyouts for all types of projects due to favorable Italian legislation.

STUDIO AND EQUIPMENT RENTALS, TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Panorama is able to extend a privileged relationship with all of Italy's major studios, including the largest facility in Rome, Cinecittą, which offers 14 stages, production offices, Europe's two largest outdoor pools, 40 hectares of backlot and its own laboratories.

Panorama has at its disposal excellent prop and costume houses, equipment suppliers and a number of laboratories. All the technical equipment and supplies it uses are top international brands such as Moviecam, Panavision, Arri, Kodak, Fuji, Fisher, Xenon, Tyler, Lee, etc. Panorama Films has European access to equipment that may not be found locally.

The volume of work generated by Panorama allows us significant discounts with vendors and suppliers; the full amount of any discount is passed on to the client.

TRANSPORT, CATERING AND LOGISTICAL SUPPORT

A full array of production vehicles is available, from cars - with or without drivers - to passenger vans, make-up buses, wardrobe buses, honeywagons, catering trucks, star motorhomes, mobile generators, grip and camera trucks, etc.

Panorama Films maintains close ties with the major transport, car rental and catering companies, ensuring discount packages that suit any budget and need.

MOBILE AND SATELLITE COMMUNICATION

Mobile phones and walkie-talkies are available either for rental or purchase. Panorama Films also offers a Satellite phone for remote location use.

POST-PRODUCTION

Panorama Films has experience supervising all post-production requirements, from laboratories through music, visual effects and CGI.

LEGAL AND FISCAL REPRESENTATION

Panorama Films acts as a comprehensive Italian legal and fiscal representative on behalf of its clients. It maintains a close collaboration with its producers, and operates under the direction of the client's company.

Panorama is ready to meet insurance requirements, provide banking facilities and problem-free fulfillment of tax and labor-related obligations (including crew hiring, social security contributions, liability and other insurance, etc.). It can organize and consult on the sales tax rebate (VAT reimbursement).

Panorama provides international standard, detailed accounting, which has not only met the demands companies like Merrill Lynch but won complements from them.

Providing supporting invoices and receipts for all monies handled for our clients is standard practice at Panorama.

OFFICE IN CENTRAL ROME, MULTILINGUAL STAFF

Panorama Films offers 250 square meters of space in central Rome, fully equipped and with wireless internet access. Production and administration offices, a conference room with full AV equipment, and full time multilingual staff are on hand.

Additional space can be arranged through our exclusive arrangement with Cinecittą Studios.

Panorama has contacts with local customs brokers and international transportation agencies operating in Italy. It has organized discounts with major hotels and private apartment rental agencies.

In the office, the languages spoken include English, Spanish, French, German and Hindi, with translation services (including legal specialists for contracts) for any language are available on request.
